Europahaus Burgenland

The Europahaus Burgenland is an institution for political and civic education, situated in the Burgenland - Pannonian region in Austria. Seminars are given for multiple reasons and on European topics and global development issues. Educational materials are provided and a newspaper is published, known as the "Forum Europahaus Burgenland". The Europahaus has experience of EU programmes such as Socrates (G2, G3, Accompayning Measures) and is engaged in the EU-Action "Partnership with Civil Society". It is coordinating institution of the "Inter Citizens Conference (ICC)", a European network of citizens initiatives and adult education institutions working for (direct) democracy on the European level.

Edaforum - Forum Permanente per l'educazione degli adulti ('l*EDA)

Edaforum is an Italian association active in the field of adult education. Its mission consists in trying to affect in a positive way local, regional and national authorities working in the field of adult education. Furthermore it aims at networking promoters of initives in the field of adult education and sensibilizing them and possible target-groups to emerging issues. It works as documentation center for projects and programs concerning adult education both at national and international level. It develops and runs training activities in the field of adult education. The forum is part of the governance of the European Association for the education of Adults (EAEA).

Institute for Sociology at the University of Malta

The Institute for Sociology of the University of Malta is a research institute which is concerned with sociological research on a national and international scale in the areas of education, by means of promoting commitment for a systematic understanding of society. The institute enriches public discourse and influences public policy to guide planning and development through its research endeavours, which broadly interprets the causes and consequences of societal issues. It has extensive experience in survey, statistical research and Information Technology methods in society.

Vihreä Sivistysliitto ry.

Vihreä Sivistysliitto ry / The Green Cultural and Educational Centre, Helsinki, FI. We work for strengthening the democratic and multicultural society and encouraging people to become responsible active citizens. We are networking with our 25 member organisations and other associations within the field of liberal adult education. We publish books, which promote political debates and study materials for study circles. We have experience in co-ordinating a Scandinavian - Baltic Project "Grönt Forum" with a WebPages in several languages. Target groups are teachers, tutors and pedagogical planners; Experience as a partner in a national project "Learn to know your home lake" networking together with five Study Associations in Finland. Working for the Finnish Ministry of Education on a project based on Baltic 21E - programme. The working group is preparing a national agenda for developing education for sustainable education trough out the educational system. The Green Cultural and Educational Centre is a national co-ordinator for the pilot projects within the liberal adult education. 2003-2006.

The NGO Institut za mezhdunarodno sytrudnichestvo i obrazovanie na vyzrastni - Institut für Bürgerinformation und Erwachsenenbildung (IMS/SGNU Sofia) was founded in 2001 and started with the help of the German Adult Education Association (DVV). Its activities include teacher training, development of certified courses in business, foreign languages, and technology, and supporting numerous joint projects in other adult education policy fields, including promotion of active citizenship and lifelong learning in Bulgaria. Intercultural education, history teaching and social integration are focus areas of work..

The Institute I.E.P.S.A. Instituto 2002 de Estudios Politicos y Sociales de Aragon is a regional non-governmental research institution. It develops programs in the field of adult education and teachers training.

Loo Keskkool

The Loo Keskkool is found in Estonia, in the region of Harymaa in the community of Joelahtine, which is 10 km form the capital city Tallinn. The region lies on the coast of the East Sea and is historically and culturally rich with monuments, legends and stories. The school is a general Estonian school. The students are aged 7 to 18. Each year there are different extracurricular projects, which are carried out together with parents and other adults. There is a 3 yearlong adult education programme. In particular projects relating to the political history and environment related topics are encouraged.

Gölbasi Halk Egitim Merkezi Müdürlügü Ankara

The Gölbasi Halk Egitim Merkezi Müdürlügü is a public school for adults for education in professional and social skills. Our courses deal with Computer, Internet, Pottery (Keramik), Languages, Clothing and Handycrafts. It´s our first participation in a European Project.
